According to Carscoops , in the five-year plan recently announced by General Motors, the Chevrolet brand may return to the high-performance sedan segment with an all-new flagship model called the Camaro.
A four-door fastback would "break" the values that the Chevrolet Camaro once represented, but it could help the General Motors brand acquire another iconic halo car.
Instead of "copying" the original Camaro, the new model may be more streamlined and refined. At the front, a thin LED light strip runs across the width of the car, below which is a hexagonal grille. The lines on the front bumper are quite substantial and aggressive.
The curved roofline forms a fastback shape, connecting to a relatively short rear. The front wheel arches feature aerodynamic spoilers, the doors are deeply recessed, the wheel arches are raised, and the body has added muscular details.
The oval-shaped, three-chamber LED taillight cluster at the rear is connected by a glossy black trim panel. This area also features a large diffuser, four exhaust pipes, and vertical air intakes similar to the Lexus LFA.

According to Carscoops , models like Chevrolet's Corvette, Equinox, and Blazer EV will offer clues about how the new Camaro's interior will be laid out. It's likely to feature a curved digital instrument cluster and a large central infotainment screen running software developed by General Motors based on Google's platform.
AI-integrated voice control and navigation will be standard equipment. The possibility of removing Apple CarPlay and Android Auto will need further consideration.
Transforming the Camaro into a four-door model would give it a true rear seat, along with a spacious trunk similar to other liftbacks. The sporty seats would feature large hip pads and premium materials. The car is expected to have performance-oriented driving modes.

The next Chevrolet Camaro model could utilize an improved version of the rear-wheel-drive Alpha platform currently found in the Cadillac CT5. This would allow for a 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder engine setup, or a 3.0L twin-turbo V6 combined with a mild hybrid system for a power output of 360 horsepower.
The SS and ZL1 versions equipped with V8 engines may also be retained. The ZL1 version will be fitted with the same 6.2L LT4 supercharged engine as the CT5 Blackwing, producing a maximum power of 668 horsepower and a maximum torque of 893 Nm.
All versions come with a 10-speed automatic transmission featuring Line Lock and Launch Control. V8 engine versions also offer a 6-speed manual transmission as an option.
If a four-door Chevrolet Camaro actually exists, it would compete with the Cadillac CT5 and Cadillac Celestiq, along with Ford's long-rumored Mustang Mach-4. Other potential rivals include the BMW 5-Series and Audi A6.
