The final itineraries aboard P&O Cruises ‘Arcadia cruise ship have been revealed.

P&O Cruises’ parent company Carnival announced this week that Arcadia will transfer to sister brand Holland America Line in August 2029.

Cunard’s Queen Anne cruise ship is moving to P&O Cruises as part of the refresh.

The 2,000 capacity Arcadia launched in 2005 and has become known for its quiet adult-only sailings.

P&O Cruises has now unveiled details of its special farewell season.

The cruise ship’s final P&O Cruises routes will start with a 16-night Atlantic islands cruise, departing on 21 December 2028. Guests will spending Christmas and New Year on board, including a New Year's Eve call to Madeira, giving passengers the opportunity to experience the island’s internationally renowned fireworks display.

The ship will then start the new year with a 126-night World Cruise, departing on 6 January 2029. The sailing includes maiden calls to destinations including Nosy Be in Madagascar, Hiroshima, Mahé, Kochi, Osaka and Puerto Princesa. Early Saver fares start from £18,499 per person based on two people sharing a balcony cabin.

On 4 June 2029, Arcadia will embark on a 21-night Mediterranean cruise followed by a 14-night Baltic voyage from 25 June.

P&O Cruises guests can sail on Arcadia around the UK on a 16-night British Isles cruise, departing on 9 July 2029. The ship’s final P&O Cruises journey is a 22-night central Mediterranean cruise on 30 July before it leaves the fleet.

After a period in drydock for renovations and a rebrand at the send of the season, Arcadia will form part of Holland America Line’s Vista-Class ships, which includes Oosterdam, Zuiderdam, Westerdam and Noordam.

The Arcadia cruises are part of P&O Cruises’ new collection of winter 2028/29 holidays, including calls to 130 destinations worldwide.

Other itineraries include fly-cruise Canary Islands sailings aboard Azura, which also visit Agadir, Morocco.

Guests can also tour the USA and the Caribbean aboard Aurora.

Pre-registration is open from 8.30am on 13 October 2026 to 8pm on 19 October 2026. General sale opens on 21October 2026.
